The primary purpose of this position is to assist First Commerce in fulfilling our Vision To Be Our Member's Financial Partner for Life. This is achieved through delivering Remarkable Member Service as defined by our Service Standards as well as building and maintaining strong member relationships through identification of member's financial needs and effectively recommending appropriate products and services to meet those needs.

Assists in managing the Debit Card and Credit Card portfolio working closely with Fiserv, CPS, and our Fraud Specialist to minimize debit/credit card fraud, Process incoming and outgoing wires. Performs backup duties for other duties within Item Processing as necessary. Works on various Credit Union projects relating to the job.

JOB DUTIES:

• Performs job duties in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors under the rules and regulations set by the National Credit Union Administration, the State of Florida and any applicable State laws for financial centers located in other
• Complies with Reg E, BSA, OFAC and CIP requirements such as checking all parties on a wire request against the OFAC list and reporting potential fraud or other suspicious activity to the fraud specialist to comply with
• Assist in the management of debit cards events
• Daily transaction posting and balancing of network settlement and working exceptions
• Daily and monthly preparation of various GL reconciliations
• Preparing and sending Fraud Report to Executive Management weekly
• Monitors any increase of fraud against compromised card list reporting to Management as necessary
• Downloading daily and monthly Fiserv reports
• Assists in handling of mass reissue of cards in coordination with Marketing, Fiserv, IT, JHA to assure timely and coordinated process when required
• Works disputes in Centrix for Debit and Credit cards including credits, denials and member notification and files disputes with Fiserv/CPs for chargeback
• Processing Cuna Mutual claims for fraud when appropriate
• Assists with the credit card program including daily balancing and researching and posting exception items as necessary
• Processing reward transactions
• Processes domestic and international incoming and outgoing wire transfers which includes OFAC validation
• Assists in processing of daily ACH files when necessary
• Monitors group queues in Synapsys for card services, wires and back up for all other item processing queues
• Serves as a backup to the ACH, ATM Processing and Share Draft desks
• Works in conjunction with the EFT/ Card Services Manager with various project assigned to the
• Attends meetings as required; reports to work on time and as scheduled
• Adheres to facility dress code
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of six months experience in a financial institution, preferably with Florida Commerce Credit Union

Skills:

• Ability to research and analyze member account history, exercising good judgment in making decisions
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to handles a variety of task with efficiency and accuracy
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
