    POSITION DESCRIPTION
    Position is responsible for supporting the professional growth of teachers and administrators via meaningfully integrated technology. Position provides support through planning, modeling, coteaching, training, and data analysis across all content areas. Position plans and conducts professional development based on assessed building and/or teacher needs.

    SALARY RANGE
    $74,160.00 - $77,171.00

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborates with instructional staff in regards to effective use of technology tools and resources to systematically collect and analyze pertinent data, interpret results and communicate findings to improve instructional practice and maximize student learning. Evaluate results of professional learning programs to determine the effectiveness of deepening teacher content knowledge, improving teacher pedagogical skills and/or increasing student learning. Motivate educators in the use, integration and appropriate application of media and educational technologies using a variety of instructional methods. Collaborate (through mentoring and modeling) with educators on the planning, conducting and evaluating of learning activities which integrate media and technology resources within multiple learning styles. Plan and facilitate workshops on relevant and meaningful topics in media and technology resources including but not limited to online learning, video conferencing, streaming video, digital media, and handheld technology. Provide technical assistance to staff around the use of various district-wide applications, including, but not limited to, Illuminate DnA, Renaissance Learning, and Skyward. Introduce, publicize and encourage the use of available learning resources and technologies through publications, newsletters, electronic presentations, and staff portal. Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of the research and best practices of the field of educational technology (informational and instructional technologies as well as leadership) Liaison with various vendors related to services provided. Maintain confidentiality. Performs other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director of Student Data and Innovation.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES: Bachelor degree in Education required, Masters in Educational Technology preferred. Education certifications such as ISTE or Google preferred. Ability to differentiate professional development for teachers based on skill levels. Minimum of five years teaching experience in urban K-12 environment preferred. Three additional years of experience providing staff (teacher and administration) coaching and training in the area of educational and media technology preferred. Demonstrated record of initiative, creativity, and leadership in educational technology. Knowledge of state and national requirements for technology use in schools. Considerable knowledge of adult learning styles, educational technology, and professional learning communities. Experience in creating and facilitating online learning experiences and ability to use a learning management system. Assist in assessing and tracking technology skill levels of students and teachers and then use the data to develop a professional development plan for staff. Ability to work in a diverse environment with the expectation of continued learning around tough conversations involving race, gender, sexual orientation, and other social identities

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Educational Technology certificate preferred

    OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Must have strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills. Experience and knowledge in Google Suite applications, Chromebooks, and Apple products. Speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication
