Ecommerce Merchant - Lane Bryant Job at Lane Bryant
This role is responsible for helping to develop Ecommerce Merchandising Strategies that shape a cohesive customer facing shopping content while driving engagement within the brand. This position is responsible for an Omni Channel Shopping Experience focused on brand initiatives and emerging trends. This role will work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and Brand as we shape a seamless shopping experience.
Drive the holistic site strategy, using customer insights/behavior to tell a cohesive story
Create Seamless customer experience
Oversee Site merchandising and content strategy
Identify key trends
Define department story telling roadmap
Inform to impact navigation, hierarchy, search, browse, and product categories
Advise and partner with various internal teams to improve processes, identify opportunities, and scale best practices
Review inventory reports daily/weekly to determine the strategy for prioritizing product categories based on inventory levels, performance, and seasonal themes
Collaborate with Merchandising to ensure alignment on site strategy and tactical product placements to meet sales plan
Create new weekly collections and understand the current trends and competitive landscape
Define and mange product imagery and copy
Work Experience and education requirements:
BA or BS in business, merchandising, or related field
8+ Years of merchandising experience
3-5 Years of leadership/management
Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships
Highly collaborative
Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity
Skilled at communicating clearing both verbally and in writing
Great knowledge of Product Categories (Apparel, Accessories, and IA businesses)
Ability to understand business KPIs and initiatives by leveraging company tools and reporting
Able to work in a fast pace environment to deliver high quality results in a short period of time
Ability to prioritize work and shift work efforts based on needs of the business
Multi tasker, decisive under ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines
Excellent problem solving skills; willingness to think out side of the box
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel , plus with Omniture and Salesforce
