Essential Functions:

Responsibilities –

· Schedules team members at the appropriate time and in the appropriate numbers.

· Responsible for providing information to the Casino Shift Managers along with recommendations for changes and is accountable for the implementation of any approved changes.

· Assists the Casino Shift Managers in establishing proper staffing and making recommendation for hiring and promotion of qualified employees to higher levels.

· Ensures consistency among shifts by enforcing all company and departmental policies, identifying and communicating inconsistencies to the Director of Table Games.

· Assists the Casino Shift Managers on projects as assigned.

· Projects a friendly attitude toward the guests and team members.

· Provides protection of company assets in accordance with company policy and Mississippi State Gaming regulations.

· Maintains teamwork with all employees and departments.

· Maintains responsibility and accountability for game limits on their assigned shift.

· Maintains inventory controls and periodically inspects gaming equipment (cards, dice, shoes, etc) to ensure security and integrity.

· Observes supervisory performance, making corrections when necessary and praising when deserved. Ensures the performance reviews are handled and given in accordance with company policy.

· Responsible for settling disputes promptly and cordially on their assigned shift, deferring to higher authority when inter-shift differences cannot be resolved between shifts.

· Completes all appropriate paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures all paperwork has the appropriate signatures and information to conform to State Regulations.

· Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Working knowledge of all table games and slots extensive experience in supervision of table games and/or slots. Minimum qualifications include a high school graduate, college degree preferred.

· Ability to clearly express themselves, verbally and in writing.

· Displays excellent leadership skills, team building and development skills.

· Formal education commensurate with responsibility.

· Three years in gaming and must have held the position of Assistant Shift for two years.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work well with other employees and departments.

· Must be flexible and able to work other shift when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
