The Trehab Drug and Alcohol Program is looking for qualified individual to join our Drug and Alcohol Prevention Team. We are seeking a dynamic professional to provide substance use focused prevention services in Susquehanna County school districts. This is a daytime, Monday through Friday position, totaling 37.5 hours weekly.

The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching or instruction, strong communication skills and knowledge about health and wellness. Furthermore, candidates should have experience in the following

- Public Speaking

- Organization, Planning, and Multi-tasking

- A working knowledge of Substance Use Disorder and Drugs of abuse

- Client, Family, and Community Education

- Community Relations

- Referral and Follow-up

- Diversity and Cultural Competence

- Creativity

- Curriculum implementation

- Report Writing, Data Input and Data Tracking

- Having Fun!

In Accordance with Pennsylvania’s Department of Drug and Alcohol programs, candidates should meet the following eligibility requirements;

(1) Hold a valid driver’s license

(2) A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major appropriate to this position such as Teaching, Public Health, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology or other related field.

A combination of experience with Associates Degree will be considered in lieu of meeting staffing requirements at time of interview.
