Flyspace Productions is a full service event management, AV production, and fine art services company and is seeking to hire one or more part time Drivers and equipment operators. This position has the option to become full time with benefits for the right candidate.

Drivers will work with our Production and Events teams to help ensure the safe and timely delivery of supplies and equipment from our shop on Pittsburgh's Northside to event sites throughout the region. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, can drive up to a 26' box truck, can operate a forklift, and is friendly and great with clients. The candidate must be over 18, must be able to obtain a DOT medical clearance and provide an MVR, and must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. A CDL license is not required, however the candidate will be required to adhere to DOT regulations. Occasional overnight travel may be required when delivering to locations outside of 150 miles.

The Drivers will be scheduled as needed with an hourly rate of $18-$20 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position is non-exempt and is overtime eligible. Candidates that work well with the team and prove capable at the work may be offered a full time position with benefits. The Drivers will report to the Production Operations Coordinator.

Job Duties:

• Operate company vehicles including 16', 20', and 26' box trucks, vans, pick up trucks, and tow behind trailers or equipment
• Make deliveries and pick ups throughout the area including assisting with loading and unloading
• Assist with prepping loads in the shop
• Operate heavy equipment at event sites as needed including fork lift, scissor lift, lull, etc.
• Operate following DOT guidelines
• Occasional overnight travel may be required dependent on the delivery location

Job Requirements:

• Excellent driving skills
• The ability to operate large trucks, vans, and pick up trucks
• The ability to tow a trailer or other equipment with a pick up truck
• The ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be over 18
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical certification
• Must provide a clean driving record and maintain a valid MVR on file
• Must be a US Citizen or have a valid work visa to work for any employer. We cannot sponsor a visa for this position.
