General Summary:

The Draft Beer Service Technician provides services of cleaning and maintaining draft beer systems as outlined by Hoffman Beverage and recommended by the Brewers Association of America. This is an exciting entry-level position in the field of draft beer with daily exposure to beer systems and how they operate, but more importantly how to maintain them. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - you will receive paid, on-the-job training. Nights/ Weekends/ Holidays off. Promote from within opportunities are available for the motivated technician. The Draft Beer Service Technician’s purpose is to uphold the Standards of Hoffman Beverage; to ensure that every pint poured has the quality and taste that the brewer intended.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Week: 4-10 Hour days (8:00am to 6:00pm)

Starting Pay: $18 an Hour

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with drought products and accounts
• Problem solving/analytical skills
• Project management skills
• Some Technical/Mechanical experience is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers.
• Drive daily to designated account on route.
• Clean and maintain draft beer systems.
• Provide basic maintenance (fixing pouring issues, changing faucets and couplers).
• Diagnose and solve draft problems. (For example: Temperature and pressure issuers)
• Communicate with Manager any account issues
• Ensure surveys are completed after cleaning, service call or delivery.
• Responsible for maintaining cleaning supplies and stock in vehicle.
• Comply with all company, state, distributor and brewer procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
• Assist Special Event department as needed with working events while earning overtime pay.
• Assist Draft Service Manager in daily functions, as requested.
• Must be in complete uniform and always remain courteous.
