We have some individuals URGENTLY seeking home health LPNs and RN's to assist in a private home setting!!! We also individuals in need of HPC, Job training, Transportation, and other Independent Provider Services.

About the job:

• We have individuals in Kent, Ravenna, Mogadore, Garrettsville, Streetsboro and Mantua who are in desperate need of LPN and RN care. There are needs throughout Portage County for all Independent Provider services!
• These are WONDERFUL FAMILIES to work with. They are COMFORTABLE places to work where you'll be welcomed with open arms. They NEED you!
• Experience with trach and vent preferred for certain individuals needing nursing services. If you don't have those skills, we will TEACH THEM!
• We have all sorts of schedules available! Whatever your availability, we will take it!
• If you are currently certified by DODD or Medicaid to provide PD nursing, or any other service, we want to talk to you!

THINGS TO KNOW

• WE WANT TO TALK WITH YOU! We will help get you working with our folks as quickly as possible!
• WE WELCOME ALL APPLICANTS and VALUE DIVERSITY for the people we serve and the people working with them!
• All supports are in place for you to WORK SAFELY and not break your back.
• There will be downtime where it's ok to RELAX.
• You will have all the SUPPORT you need to do the job right.
• However we can get you working with our folks who really need nursing care is on the table. While the fastest route to get to work is an independent provider, WE ARE OPEN TO ALL NURSES!
• If you don't have your IP Cert, we'll connect you with the home health agency who is handling the case, or assist you in becoming an independent provider.

• The process takes about a couple months and is completed completely online and currently free. It's possible to start with a home health agency while your independent provider certification is processed

HOW IT WORKS

• Apply on Indeed
• We'll have a short phone call to talk about the position and your needs to decide which individual may be the best fit for you to assist.
• We'll schedule a zoom meet and greet with the individual, their guardian, provider (if you want to work through an agency) and Portage DD staff to see if it's a good fit and go from there!
• It will be a quick process, as we are URGENTLY needing to fill these needs.!
