What you will do

We provide gripping skills to robots, intelligent flow to materials, and lifting power to humans. We want to improve today’s product and assembly for the better. As Distribution Associate - Fulfilment, you will provide distribution services including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control under the supervision of the Fulfilment Team leader.

· Receive goods for resale, returns, and process related paperwork

· Stock picking area and pick new orders from stock

· Perform cycle counts and participate in physical inventories

· Pack new orders and process through computer system

· Repair returned defective products to working order

· Familiarity with all shipping methods both foreign and domestic

· Computer competency with Shipping Programs, Material, & inventory modules

· Familiarity with inventory control processes and procedures

· Familiarity with goods in warehouse and their location

· Familiarity with proper packing techniques

· Maintain adequate supply of shipping supplies

· Expedite and ship urgent orders. Assist with trade show moving and storage

· Assist production team as needed.

· Familiarity with OSHA safety rules

· Familiarity with Distribution quality requirements

· Familiarity with facilities closing/security

Service the customer

· Go beyond your accountabilities and do what it takes.

· Always understand customer’s view.

· Always respond to customer even if you don’t have an answer.

· Follow the C.I.R. (Continual Improvement Report) guidelines - responsible for reporting non-conformities.

You will report directly to the Fulfilment Team Leader, and the position is based in Hingham, MA. In this role you are required to act accordingly to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission, and routin

Skills, Experience, and Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical Aptitude
