Mosquito Cafe is looking for an energetic, hard working, self motivated and dedicated line cook. Mosquito Cafe takes great pride in providing made-to-order entrees, fresh quality ingredients, great customer service, and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Line Cook

We have a position open for a well-organized and committed line

cook. Our environment is fast-paced and we expect you to be able to work as

part of a team. Our goal is to employ a person with excellent time management

and communication skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks. You will be

working in a kitchen for most of your workday. This means that you will also

have to follow food safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities of a Line Cook:

• Applicants must be fast, able to handle a knife well, able to work with the kitchen crew, a good multi-tasker, detail oriented, positive, reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
• Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area
• Cleaning kitchen appliances and equipment
• Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
• Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
• Follow food safety procedures and regulations
• Prepping food & supplies for next shift

Line Cook Job Requirements:

• Must have minimal work experience as a line cook
• Must know and follow all food safety procedures
• Must carry at least a high school diploma or an equivalent
• Must have GREAT communication skills
• Must be able to prioritize tasks
• Must be able to show up to work on time, every time
