Position Title: Director, Consumer Marketing

The Director, Consumer Marketing, will develop and execute all aspects of the US Consumer activation and adherence plans for NEXLETOL and NEXLIZET, including development of strategic marketing tools, creative campaign and messaging, and all channels of multi-channel execution (pharmacy, digital, web, paid search, in-office, print). This position will be responsible for end-to-end Consumer strategy and execution throughout the entire patient journey from activation through brand adherence on the products. The position is remote with a travel requirement of around 20%.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

Consumer Activation

  • Responsible for the development, execution, monitoring, and optimization of consumer activation programs. These will include consumer web site, in-office advertising, pharmacy programs, videos, search (paid and organic), display, and social media channels.
  • Develop and launch targeted and efficient media to the appropriate patients for NEXLETOL and NEXLIZET
  • Ensure executional excellence by working with agencies to tag, measure, and optimize all tactics by channel
  • Work closely with, and manage, outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute consumer projects
  • Manage and partner with the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible consumer communications
  • Lead the development of consumer strategy, new creative, messaging, and execution based on the expected cardiovascular outcomes label in the first half of 2024
  • Lead market research in partnership with vendor to evaluate and measure creative campaign and messages for expected new label

Patient Adherence

  • Brand lead for all adherence Patient Support tactics, including CRM campaign on consumer web site. Will provide strategic direction, review, and approve all tactics designed to enhance fulfillment and adherence of NEXLETOL and NEXLIZET patients. Responsible for over-seeing the coupon program.
  • Foster and manage relationships with key patient advocacy organizations.
  • Maximize value of external partners (ad agency, vendors, etc.) in a cost-effective manner.
  • Manage brand budgets

Qualifications (Education & Experience)
  • BA/BS degree and 10+ years of relevant marketing/brand management experience; or equivalent education and experience.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience required.
  • Experience and knowledge of regulatory environment and has proven track record of promotional execution in industry
  • Demonstrated strategic planning, marketing fundamental, and execution excellence, with a customer focus.
  • Previous consumer marketing experience required
  • Demonstrates and leads with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative market research vendors preferred.
  • Product launch experience preferred.
  • Cardiovascular experience preferred.
