WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We seek a Director of Global Stores Content & Transition who will lead Nike Store Global Communication strategy, large scale-communications, change management initiatives and develop transition plans and communication approaches to facilitate effective implementation of new global store programs and initiatives. We need an influential leader who can drive a comprehensive strategy cross-functionally with excellent communication and consistent accountability.



WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As the Director, Global Stores Content & Transition, you’ll be responsible for planning, communicating and implementing transition management plans for new global stores programs. Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Business Initiatives, you’ll work closely with the Store Initiatives team and the Director of Implementation to communicate deliverables and transition Nike to a more vertical retail future.



WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
  • Developing transition management and communication approach for effective implementation of new global store programs
  • Creating actionable deliverables for the core release management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan
  • Designing, developing, and delivering key release communications
  • Supporting release kickoff meetings
  • Providing effective flow of information across Global Nike Stores internal communications and announcements
  • Identifying roadblocks and seeking partnership to resolve them
  • Delivering value for our geographies, athletes, and consumers in a fast-paced environment with high-visibility and global impact
  • Building partnerships and working collaboratively across organizational, departmental, and geographical boundaries
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • 7+ years of multi-store field and communication experience required in a focused, customer-centric retail environment
  • Expertise in retail store service excellence with an omnichannel approach
  • Leadership experience turning a global vision into reality and leading a strategic center of excellence
  • Skill in leading business stakeholders via clear, concise, and structured communications
  • Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment
  • Track record working in a team environment to define and align strategies, roadmaps, and priorities
  • Multi-country expertise and background leading across territories and time zones
  • Strong influencing and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for developing and delivering strategies to executive level management
  • Expertise driving results with a strong work ethic and passion for excellence
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in capturing key metrics and applying insights to support decisions
  • Able to balance multiple projects and initiatives while driving accountability day-to-day
