Exciting management opportunity! We are looking for an experienced, responsible and dedicated restaurant manager with a warm and positive personality who has worked in a high volume restaurant. You must also be organized, possess multi tasking ability, have good common sense and the ability to solve problems quickly and calmly. We seek someone who is guest driven and takes pride in ensuring customer satisfaction. 2 + years experience in restaurant management preferred. Serving experience is a big plus. Event planning is also a plus. You would need to be well versed in steps of service and have the ability to teach and help our staff progress to be the best they can be. In addition, you would be trained to execute all FOH positions, including expo, running, taking phone orders, hosting etc.

Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience and expertise. Schedule would be 5 days a week, 48-52 hours depending on the season. Friday and Saturday are not negotiable and you may be required to work on restaurant holidays. If a holiday falls on your day off, you will get a different day off that week

About us: Arpeggio is an independently owned restaurant that is a fast paced, high volume BYOB. We have a large and interesting menu and have been in business for over 25 years. We have several staff members who have been with us for 20+ years. Our staff is like family and we have many "regulars". Our mission is to create a happy and comfortable environment for both staff and guests. We are a drug free, smoke free restaurant.

Basic Job Duties

  • Ensure timeliness of food service
  • Employee scheduling. approximately 35 employees
  • Supervise and train FOH staff
  • Assist in cutting payroll costs by letting some staff go as soon as they are not needed.
  • Maintain orderliness with take out, make sure orders are complete when handed to the customer and adjusting timing as necessary.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Oversee FOH cleaning schedule.
  • Listen and respond to guests' feedback, communicate this to owners
  • Serve as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff
  • Placing vendor orders for FOH
  • Maintaining a safe, sanitary and clean environment


REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years previous experience as a restaurant manager in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to get along well with co workers, create a respectful work environment
  • Comfortable with computers
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment efficiently
  • Must be reliable and flexible
  • Great problem solver


We are an upscale casual, well regarded Mediterranean BYOB that has been in business for over 25 years. We relocated within the same Center to a larger more modern space in 2017 that includes a large outdoor deck.
