Summary

The Digital Asset and Ecommerce Coordinator is the point person at Herr s for ensuring that our products are available and optimized for all ecommerce platforms. This is a new and important marketing position enabling consumers to find and purchase our products online. The duties include product synchronization - ensuring the latest and correct specifications, images, nutrition information and marketing descriptions are loaded into a GDSN database and are available to our retailers. This position will also work closely with the marketing department and outside agencies to build and maintain enhanced content for retailers digital shelf and pure- play ecommerce sites such as Amazon.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

Digital Asset Coordination

• Gathering and cataloguing all product specs from supply chain, marketing, and R&D for the 1World Sync database
• Creating / editing / updating product specs and selling points for our products that can be used in the ecommerce portals of our retailers
• Managing the uploading of digital content onto our website and Visitor Center fulfillment platform and maintaining relevant and current content.
• Managing the storage of digital graphics / photography / packaging images (digital asset management)
• Assist in selecting and building product offerings to load into customer sites/portals
• Enter data on specific templates to submit to retail sites for approval
• Work with the marketing department to deliver product images and forward them to retailers

Ecommerce Coordination

• Assist in selecting and building enhanced product offerings to load into customer sites/portals
• Enter data on specific templates to submit to retail sites for approval
• Work with the marketing department to deliver product images and marketing copy points for enhanced content.
• Ensure all items are priced correctly on retailers websites
• Work with customer service and customers to troubleshoot and resolve inquiries or concerns
• Periodically review customer web sites to ensure product presentation conforms to company's eCommerce guidelines
• Perform ongoing maintenance for specific retailers to correct any inaccuracies appearing in product descriptions, specifications, images, etc.
