The role you’ll contribute:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services, the Dietary Specialist performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties as well as other related tasks.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Works hospital cafeteria food line and restocks as needed.
- Takes food temperature before serving.
- Runs cash register in the hospital cafeteria.
- Ensures all beverage coolers are full (i.e., soda, tea, juice)
- Replenishes silverware, napkins, cups, straws, and condiments.
- Makes coffee & tea and ensure coffee/tea machine stays full.
- Maintains work area in a neat, clean and orderly manner.
- Loads and operates dish washer, trays, cups and dishes.
- Disposes of trash and garbage in appropriate manner and as needed.
