DevCo Management is seeking a full-time Development Liaison to join our team in Bellevue, WA. The Development Liaison will be an integral part of the marketing team, knowledgeable about our organization’s needs, and pitching in to support a wide range of marketing tasks and company functions. You will take ownership of researching and tracking project opportunities, documenting our work, developing, and supporting process improvement, and ensuring everything we produce meets our brand standards with visual and verbal excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Be the liaison for new construction projects as they move to property management by collaborating with project teams related to marketing and brand management for properties in various stages of construction.
  • Develop and implement procedures and processes for the transition from construction to property management.
  • Collaborate with creative services and communication to develop the marketing campaign, collateral materials, and day-to-day decisions. concerning finishes, floorplan changes, color selections for paint, etc. Sign off on all major marketing plans.
  • Inspect properties that are being considered for purchase and make recommendations on how to improve signage, landscaping, clubhouse, fitness equipment, model, leasing office interiors, etc.
  • Coordinate logo design, and signage package and provide suggestions for community names for acquisitions.
  • Create marketing enhancements for the portfolio and provide clear guidance for implementation and follow-up plans.
  • Monitor the accuracy and quality of all collateral materials including community brochures, business cards, letterhead, etc.
  • Be the point person for due diligence on any new properties the company takes over management.
  • Play an active role in planning groundbreaking and dedication events.
  • Support the development and management of annual marketing plans, marketing budgets, and owner reports and presentations for assigned properties.
  • Be responsible for the timely production and quality of marketing deliverables and communications.
  • Uphold and protect the branding and positioning of properties and all applicable outlets.
  • Develop agendas for regular meetings, and draft and disseminate notes.
  • Manage and create content on property websites and serve as brand manager for all assigned property websites.
  • Assist with website coordination, including updating and refreshing content, and adding video and photography when needed.
  • Develop and maintain a system for designing, ordering, storing, and distributing collateral materials.
  • Define the framework to expand the capabilities of marketing technology solutions.
  • Be the expert on Technology solutions available in the market, evaluate 3rd party tools versus in-house tools, and drive technical integration when bringing in 3rd party solutions.
  • Own the collaboration with business stakeholders to understand the needs of the business, the key challenges to be overcome and define solutions to address them
  • Build a roadmap of capabilities that integrate features into the platform and provide end-to-end marketing solutions at scale
  • Oversee agile delivery of product features from inception to launch. Manage risks and timelines.
  • Attend training classes as scheduled and assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective project and personal management skills, including time management, planning and organizing, execution and delivery of results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
  • Basic (or better) understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Flexibility to meet shifting priorities and to multi-task and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with project management and business analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated accountability related to project process, communications, risk assessment, needs definition, work definition, status tracking, change management and overall project success.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate, interact and develop productive and professional relationships with all levels of management, internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Works cooperatively with diverse teams, as well as area, regional, and national managers and staff.
  • Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles.
  • Highly articulate, have a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • BA in business, marketing, communications, or comparable degree/experience
  • 3+ years’ experience managing complex integrated marketing projects
  • Experience developing and implementing a marketing and communications plan.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
  • Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
