Design Co-Op Job at Opus Packaging - New Bremen

We are currently searching for a Design Co-op for our New Bremen, OH location. As a Design Co-op you can expect to learn the skills, processes, equipment and tools of the corrugated industry from our team of Design professionals.
What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:

Must be 18 years or older.

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Currently pursuing a 2-year degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
-
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.

Work safely and attend all safety training.
It would be great if you also have:
-
Excellent computer knowledge.
-
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
-
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with identified time frames.

Team player.
-
Quick learner and efficient.
-
High sense of urgency.
-
Able to work well under pressure.
During a normal workday you can expect to:

Prepare customer samples.
-
Rebuild Standards
-
Design prototypes using ArtiosCAD software.
-
Become proficient in TOPs Software
-
Learn the Esko sample cutting table.
-
Other projects as assigned.
