La Cross Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to grow with our team in our Spring Valley Dental Group Office in the O' Fallon, IL
area!

As a Dental Assistant, you are responsible for efficiently preparing rooms & trays in our fast-paced office, assisting the Dentist during dental procedures, & turning rooms over between procedures in order to provide the best patient care possible. The ideal candidate will have a certification as a Dental Assistant.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
Welcoming & Seating Patients- Chair-side dental assisting
- Tray preparation for all procedures
- Room turnover between procedures
- Proper charting of treatment
- Taking blood pressure & administering nitrous
- Communicating home-care instructions after surgery
- Walking the patient to the Front Desk
- Accurately communicating treatment to the Front Desk
- Taking x-rays (PA's, Pano, FMX)
- Sterilizing hand-pieces and instruments
- Taking alginates
- Pouring/trimming models
- Making custom trays & retainers
- Office maintenance/organization
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
Dental Experience- Expanded Functions Certified
- Eaglesoft Experience Preferred
- Time Efficient
- Organized
