Deli Associate Job at Dutch-Way Farm Market Inc.
1. Provide exceptional service, courtesy, and friendliness to all customers.
2. Wait on customers (slicing, cutting, weighing, and pricing merchandise).
3. Maintain shelves and cases, filled at all times.
4. Control freshness by coding all products and pull out-of-code merchandise daily.
5. Price all products legibly and according to the price book.
6. Assist in preparation of foods.
7. Maintain good customer relations with prompt and courteous service.
8. Promote new items or weekly specials.
9. Communicate temperature failure of cases and storage area to manager in charge. Monitor hourly.
10. Follow store and government safe food handling and sanitation procedures at all times.
11. Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.
12. Must wear hat, hairnet, or hair restraint; plastic gloves and any other items required by government sanitation regulations or company policy.
13. Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
