Day Services Caregivers needed for people with developmental disabilities.

• Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• $650 Sign on Bonus
• $14 per hour base pay
• Temporary $1.20 per hour (through 12/31/2023)
• Extra $2.00 per hour when driving

Position Responsibilities

• Administers, documents and stores medications according to policies and procedures.
• Maintains all records needed for documentation of members needs.
• Record and report any change in a member’s physical and or behavioral status.
• Responsible for the maintenance, safety, care, storage and security of program equipment, supplies, and personal possessions of the clients.
• Maintains a current Arizona Driver’s License and meets all VALLEYLIFE auto insurance requirements to provide members with transportation.
• Follows a daily schedule and carries out any assigned duties to provide a normal rhythm of life.
• Provides assistance and support to our members when ill and responds to health-threatening emergencies.
• Respects confidentiality, individuality and the rights of all people served by this agency.
• Participates in all components of the individual Service Plan (ISP).
• Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of programmatic objectives developed by the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Interacts positively with all clients and shows interest toward the job being performed.
• Assists with public relations and interacts positively with the community, planning agencies, generic services individuals, their families/guardians and VALLEYLIFE personnel.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned to meet the needs of VALLEYLIFE, its programs and clients

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds a distance of four feet, a frequency up to 20 times in an eight hour shift and 35 times in a twelve hour shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
