This individual should have an interest in fashion, merchandising, online shopping, or all of the above, as most training is about the product details. Meticulousness is the most important quality for this position, as all of your work will be showcased on our website and in stores.
Part of the position may also include sorting, hanging, and inspecting clothing and picking/packing online orders. You will receive thorough training for each of these tasks.
The work must be done quickly without compromising extreme care. You will be working in a warehouse setting.
This growing, female-founded and owned business with a mission around sustainability is located in the 5 towns.
***THIS IS NOT INWOOD located in Upper Manhattan this is on Long Island, close to Far Rockaway. Please make sure the commute is feasible for you before applying!***
Responsibilities:
Merchandising for online products
Data entry in our inventory and product systems- taking measurements and describing products
Some hanging and steaming clothing
Photographing clothing- no previous experience required
Qualifications:
Highly efficient worker
Internet proficient
Experience with or interest in fashion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
