Job Summary
The mission of Dallas Theological Seminary as a professional, graduate-level school is to glorify God by equipping godly servant-leaders for the proclamation of His Word and the building up of the body of Christ worldwide.
The Data and Gift Entry Clerk will assist the Advancement Office by entering donations to the Seminary into our database. The position is 30 hours per week.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform daily imports of gifts to DTS that are made online. Ensure gifts are marked with proper coding and that comments are resolved.

Perform gift entry of gifts to DTS received through the mail. Ensure accurate entry of donor and gift information.

Assist with database management—correcting addresses, resolving duplicate records, requesting premiums, generating year-end receipts, and other special database projects.

Review incoming donor communication.

Assist Content Manager with other projects.
Job Qualifications

Excellent computer skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Awareness of database software such as Studio Enterprise, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or other comparable software a plus.

Accurate and fast data entry/typing skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Able to complete the same repetitive tasks each day while maintaining interest and focus on details.

Flexible when given multiple projects.

Positive attitude when interacting with coworkers and DTS donors.

Support for the mission of DTS and the importance of fundraising on behalf of the Seminary.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
