The Cytotechnologist Job Details:
- Full time, direct hire opportunity
- Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

- The Cytotechnologist performs specialized tasks involved in screening slides of clinical specimens to detect evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions. Requires a thorough knowledge of the morphology of normal cells and cellular changes associated with physiological states, reactive processes, inflammatory changes and changes resulting from effects of specific forms of treatment such as irradiation and chemotherapy. Evaluates the quality of specimen preparation utilizing knowledge of the expanding variety of methods of preparation and staining in the laboratory.
The Cytotechnologist Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Cytotechnology Required
- Certified Cytotechnologist Required - Within 1 Year of Hire
- 2 Years Clinical - Clinical Laboratory Preferred
