Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage a team of staff on multiple projects related to penetration testing and technical assessments in various industries
  • Develop working relationships with client executives and project managers in the performance of our work
  • Collaborate with other managers in our Cybersecurity practice regarding client management activities, networking activities, leadership activities, and staff development activities
  • Engage in practice development activities with prospective clients and other networking activities
  • Applies consulting skills to support practice development efforts
  • Assists in proposal and engagement development
  • Engage in training to further your career development
  • Lead training of staff on the job and in internally developed training activities
  • Performs testing or reviews for multiple client projects to assist client efforts to enhance their cybersecurity posture including:
    • Penetration testing (e.g. external or internal network, wireless, web application, mobile etc.)
    • Vulnerability assessments
    • Social engineering assessments (e.g. phishing, vishing, physical impersonation, etc.)
    • Other technical security configuration reviews (i.e Microsoft 365, firewall, routers, etc.)
  • Participate and lead client meetings and present technical findings to clients i.e. IT and/or management/executives in an easy to understand manner
  • Interacts with other practice areas including but not limited to audit, tax, and other management consulting service groups
Required qualifications.
  • Bachelors’ Degree required
  • 3-7 years' experience performing and supervising penetration testing or another cybersecurity area
  • Supervising staff and providing written and verbal performance feedback
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills
  • Superior attention to detail and conscientious quality of work product
  • Professional demeanor with superior verbal and written communication skills
  • IT certifications are preferred; CISSP, CISA, CEH, Security+ OSCP, and/or GPEN
  • Approximately 30% overnight travel

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$8,666.67 to $11,750.00
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
