PAC Worldwide is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst. As the Cyber Security Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include threat monitoring, firewall change management, security configuration management, maturity assessments, vulnerabilities assessments, and recommending remediation and mitigation steps. You will work with teams across PAC, from engineering, quality, compliance, legal and supply chain to ensure new products are developed with cyber security in mind.

The Cyber Security Analyst is an individual contributor position. You will report to the Director of IT Infrastructure. This will be a hybrid role working onsite at either our Redmond, WA or Middletown, OH locations as well as from your home office, located near one of these facilities.

What you will be doing:

Level 1 Functions (Minimum 50% allocation)

  • Facilitate the cybersecurity champion network, create, develop, and deliver cybersecurity awareness, governance, risk management and compliance training.
  • Perform security incident management and threat analysis.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly access management audits.
  • Research industry trends to identify cybersecurity issues, emerging cyber threats.

Level 2 Functions (Maximum 50% allocation)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure cybersecurity is a product requirement.
  • Create cybersecurity documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and hunt for exploits.
  • Collaborate on the creation, development, and implementation of remediation plans.

Analytical Functions (Maximum 25% allocation)

  • Create comprehensive incident reports which clearly articulate security issues, analysis, remediation techniques and risk profiles.
  • Document and implement change requests in our security systems (e.g., firewalls, EDR, SIEM, ATP, etc.).
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing on security patching, certificate management, signatures, and code upgrades.
  • Monitor and analyze logs and alerts from a variety of different technologies (IPS/IDS, firewall, anti-virus, EDR, SIEM, ATP, etc.), across multiple platforms.

Travel 10-15% is required. Other duties as assigned.

Your qualifications:

The position of Cyber Security Analyst is mid to senior level.

The ideal candidate has a background in IT Infrastructure and has responsibility over or has recently transitioned to a Cyber Security role.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job will be considered.

  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Security+ or SSCP certification is required.
  • CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CRISA, CISM, COBIT and Azure Security Engineer certifications are highly desired.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Server, Microsoft Hyper-V or Nutanix, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender ATP, and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS and RHEL).
  • Experience with the following:
    • Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
    • Firewalls, IPS, IDS, and EDR solutions
  • You understand switching, routing, VPN, SD-WAN, and WLAN principles and how they work.
