Job Description

Customer Relations Specialist (CRS) will interact closely with our customers throughout their entire purchasing process. This position is the primary interface for our customers as it relates to request for quotes (RFQs), order placement, order fulfillment/status, and repair support. The CRS will collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate information is provided to the customer thereby guaranteeing we meet or exceed our customer expectations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming customer inquiries through phone calls, emails, website and various portals.
  • Perform full order fulfillment function, change orders, and returns according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Supply customer quotes utilizing standard price lists, repair service levels or historical order data.
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather information internally and externally to provide timely information to customer regarding order status and product requests.
  • Professionally handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within established timeframe with appropriate level of customer satisfaction.
  • Thoroughly review customer orders against quotes and proposals for accuracy and cohesion to ensure order acceptance & placement.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

The Individual

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum High School Diploma with 2 to 3 years of order fulfilment and customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in manufacturing industry is required.
  • Strong computer skill is mandatory including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or Oracle is an advantage.
  • Ability to follow instructions and to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
  • Ability to perform day-to-day duties with strong attention to detail and timeliness in an independent work environment.
  • Customer and Team oriented mindset.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to adapt/respond to a diverse customer base.

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: 2-3 years customer support experience or experience as a client service representative, preferably in a related manufacturing environment such as Aerospace/Defense or Electronic Manufacturing

Security: U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). May be required to obtain a security clearance.
