Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative answers inbound calls to general and service telephone lines, schedule service appointment and /or answer customer enquiries as required, and make outbound calls to existing customers to solicit service appointments. Below are the essential of duties of this role:

  • Answer the phones in a timely manner.
  • Assist customers with scheduling service/delivery/follow up calls
  • Accurately create tickets in system to reflect on service techs schedule.
  • Direct customer to correct resources to address concerns if a service call is not needed, or correctly decipher if the customer requires a phone call from a tech to address their concerns.
  • Assist walk-in customers with scheduling service/delivery as needed.
  • Follow up on forwarded voice mails, emails, or ad hoc requests from management.
  • Use monthly marketing lists to call service prospects to solicit service appointments per company policy.
  • Route salt deliveries
  • Follow up with customers as necessary to confirm appointments
  • Identify upsell opportunities during phone call and appropriately assign to designated sales rep, or color code in accordance with Technician assignment protocol (Color code service tickets based on sales opportunity)

Job requirements

  • 2-3 Years of Customer Service Experience preferred
  • Able to work rotating Saturdays/Half Day, 4-Hour shifts (1-2 a month)
  • Home Service Trades experience is a PLUS
  • High School Diploma
  • Numerate, literate, and familiar with MS Office
  • Customer-focused, punctual, adaptable, reliable, and outgoing
  • Must have a professional telephone manner
  • Calm under pressure and must have a positive attitude,
  • Loyal, team-oriented, results-driven, thorough, personable, and prideful
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
