Job Description:

The Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for answering customer calls/issues, review back order reports, review expired order reports, research and write credit requests for the territory they are in. They will report to the Customer Service Manager.

Job Requirements:

· Manage customer territory determined by customer service manager, that will include answering phone calls from customers, trouble shooting issues, analyzing customer orders, and communicate internally as it relates to customer’s orders

· Ability to comprehend, analyze, and facilitate several different type of reports that will include open orders to ship, expired orders, shippable back orders, printed orders, and replacement orders

· Will conduct several audits as it relates to customers within territory, that will include reviewing pricing holds on orders, shortages for open orders, work with credit department for holds on orders, and overall audit trail for orders within territory

· Schedule truckloads for customer orders, as well as schedule pick up orders for customers in territory

· Main liaison between customer service and credit department as it relates to credit issues, which entails gathering proper documentation for credit requests and approval process

· Manage pick ticket for territory, as well as back up Order Entry and the Receptionist

Job Qualifications Include:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow direction from manager
  • Computer competent (Microsoft Excel mandatory)
  • Punctual and dependable
  • High School education or equivalent
