Customer Service Representative Job at D & D Transportation Services, Inc.
D&D is looking to add a qualified Customer Service Representative to our team at our Gooding, ID office.
In this position some of your responsibilities will include:
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, sales representatives, and internal associates
- Support customer’s needs in the marketplace
- Meet or exceed total service needs of the customers
- Serve as a point of contact to our wonderful fleet of drivers
- Assist in scheduling appointments for pickup and deliveries
- Assist in dispatching loads to our fleet
- Monitor and trace orders and equipment and follow up on findings
- Solicit freight or identify capacity alternative options as needed
- Handle spot pricing negotiations with vendors and customers
- Anticipating problems and being pro-active in problem solving and finding solutions
- Assist in new business developments
- Assist other departments in daily tasks and projects
