Provide customer service and work with the insurance producers from the application process to policy analysis including but not limited to routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal, and preparation of formal proposals. Alert management of any E &O situation that occurs and maintain and update customers files for consistency and in accordance with agency standards. Knowledge of basic insurance products and pricing tools are essential. This position will be supervised by the Benefits Manager.

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintain knowledge of best carrier for renewal business and perform all necessary procedures for policy quote and/or issuance
• Assist in gathering information to complete applications to renew accounts and to deliver proposals and renewals to the client
• Request needed data from the companies and insureds
• Handle phone calls, emails, and faxed requests from clients and companies.
• Be familiar with and consistently follow agency policies & procedures
• Conduct/Attend client presentations or employee meetings as needed in accordance with producer
• Assist customers with any coverage related questions and maintain relationship with carriers.
• Verify any changes to customer policies have been made by company
• Any other duties and special projects as needed in meeting or exceeding agency goals.

Knowledge/Skills: Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook), detail orientated, focused, able to multi-task, adaptable, good time management skills, possession of current MN Life & Health insurance license preferred.
