Piab Operations team – North America is searching for an innovative, energetic, and collaborative Customer Service Associate.

What you will do

As a Customer Service Associate, youwill support Piab and Piab’s customers, through order entry, order follow-up, direct customer service, and other administrative functions, as necessary. Customer service associates are responsible for timely responses to all customer inquiries. You will:

· Responsible for entry of customer orders.

· Provide customer service support by responding to customer calls, e-mails, and fax inquiries regarding orders, stock status, pricing, order expediting, and use of distributor / rep websites.

· Understanding of policies and procedures for order entry and order expediting

· Process requests for Return Materials Authorizations

· Process requests for credit

· Input new customers into the computer system

· Other projects as necessary

You will report directly to the Director of Operations, and the position is based in Hingham, MA. They work closely with Applications Engineers and Area Sales Managers to support Piab’s customers. They will also liaise with Purchasing and Distribution teams as needed to facilitate on-time deliveries where needed. In this role, you are required to act according to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission, and routines.

We are looking for

  • Direct customer service experience
  • Order entry and/or data entry experience.

Skills, Experience, and Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT
  • Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
  • Effectively address customer queries, and concerns and ensure they result in a positive experience for our clients.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around complex, multiple assignments
  • Demonstrates superior client service
