CT Technician (AART) Job at UAB Medicine
UAB Medicine is in search of CT Technicians to join the team in Birmingham, AL!
Location: 615 18th St S Birmingham, Alabama 35233
Shifts: 8:00am - 8:30pm, every 3rd weekend (3-12's), 7 days on, 7 days off. 8:00am - 8:30pm on Th-Sat & 10:00am -8:30pm on Sun-Wed, 7:30am - 6:00pm (4-10 hr shifts), every 4th weekend, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, every 4th weekend
Pay: $29.25-$42.78/hour based on experience + $3.00-$4.00/hour shift differential
Responsibilities: Under the direction of a radiologist and the CT supervisor, to perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. To perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to render prescribed CT procedures.
Must Haves:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology required. 2-year degree acceptable.
- Will accept techs with Computed Tomography (CT) experience who do not currently have registration for CT (RT. (R)(CT)(AART). These candidates must register for CT within 6 months of hire.
- 1-year CT experience
- BLS certification
