Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 22 sites across TEN counties in Southeast Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking two (2) Crisis Residential Specialists to join our Gallipolis, OH team.

Crisis Residential Specialist Schedule:

• Day/Evening/Night Shift
• Part Time
• Weekends and Holidays as needed
• 20-24 Hours

Crisis Residential Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide support for personal care activities, social and leisure activities, and orientation to clients on the CSU as well as responds to crisis calls in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.
• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the unit according to all applicable policies, rules, and standards.
• Position will provide orientation to new clients including admission forms, residential agreement, personal property inventory;
• Provides support for personal care services including prompting activities of daily living, assistance with self-administration of medication(s) as needed.
• Conduct and documents regular checks of each client at time intervals specified by the Treatment Team and report changes in observable behavior of clients served to the Treatment Team (includes verbalizations of feelings, attitudes and values, interests and aptitudes, etc.).
• Reports developing crisis situations immediately.

Crisis Residential Specialist Requirements:

• Eligible to work in the United Stated
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Candidates must have a willingness to work any shift- nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed.
• Must be mature and function independently.
• Ability to work with emotionally disabled persons in a crisis state.
• Position requires current in-person certification in Basic CPR and First Aid;
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience providing direct care services preferred.
