Seeking:
Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to assist full time at the local prison in Salem, Oregon.
Position Details:
- Full-time Schedule Monday-Friday 10:30a-7p
- Hiring Immediately!
- Paid Orientations & Facility Training
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the facility
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility
- Provide patient education and support the nursing team equally
- Effectively document wellness checks and all forms of patient care
Licensure/Education:
- 3 years (minimum) required as a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification Preferred)
- Corrections, Behavioral Health, Urgent Care Settings highly valued
Employment Qualifications:
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to obtain current Tuberculosis Test and Drug Screen
- Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
