Your impact

The Corporate Controller is an essential role in ensuring integrity and accuracy in financial reporting and serves as a finance business partner to both internal and external stakeholders.

You'll own

• Managing cash balances and money movement including, contributions, distributions, acquisitions, and expenses.
• Managing accounting and reporting responsibilities in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles.
• Processing journal entries for all asset level capital transactions.
• Preparing and maintaining investor allocations, including asset management and transaction fees as well as internal promote schedules.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual business plans, including revenue and expense budgeting, for fund owned assets.
• Overseeing of third-party accounting firms completing annual audit and tax returns.
• Developing recommendations and implementing strategies to optimize accounting systems and internal procedures.
• Road map and implement new ERP in tandem with finance.
• Building collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners.

You bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting, preferably in the real estate or investment industries.
• CPA required.
• Technical knowledge - You're an expert in GAAP requirements and financial statements. You have experience with property accounting.
• Experience in managing fund LP/GP or REIT JV structures.
• Problem-solver - Your commitment to data accuracy and analysis allows you to tell a story and create solutions.
• Builder - You can create processes from scratch and understand when and how to automate and optimize.
