Razorfish is seeking a copywriter contractor to create branded content for one of our largest global consumer technology clients! Copywriters at Razorfish are brilliant at being highly creative, strategic, and thinking on their feet. They work with a team of Art Directors, Designers, Strategists and SEO experts to conceptualize and translate ideas into compelling brand books and campaigns that align with client business objectives.

• 
  Jumping between thinking like a copywriter, a content strategist, story-board extraordinaire, a journalist and a pop culture enthusiast
• Brainstorming campaign ideas and positioning approaches based on brief from the client
• Writing compelling campaign, and positioning copy to be captured within Play Books and executed by our creative teams
• Working closely with the SEO team to optimize copy
• Collaborating with designers to produce visual assets that enhance the story – photos, videos, gifs, etc.
• Concepting and creating engaging social media approaches that drive traffic to content
• Presenting ideas to the team
• Addressing feedback from the team and the client
• Researching the latest global lifestyle and tech trends
• Incorporating copy into copy deck templates and checking for accuracy

• Experience writing editorial-style content, campaigns, and social assets for branded content marketing efforts
• Experience writing short-form marketing copy for landing pages, microsites etc. and working with UX designers to tell the story on a page
• Deep understanding of the millennial/gen z audience — what they're into, what excites them, what interests them
• Basic understanding of SEO and writing meta data, including alt text
• Love for the craft of writing and a knack for grammar — you’re a sucker for details and can proofread your own work
• Fluency in global pop culture and trends — you love knowing what’s up
• Interest in and knowledge of consumer tech
• Enthusiastic, self-starter attitude and a collaborative spirit
