4 days per week (Flexible)
12pm-7pm
$33-36 per hour
Private Family in Cresskill, NJ seeks an experienced live-out private cook/housekeeper, four days per week, (days to be determined) to assist with all aspects of food preparation and some light housekeeping. Client has two housekeepers. Hours are from 12 pm-7 pm but can be flexible. The candidate must be well-versed and experienced in making tasty nutritious meals and have very good housekeeping experience. Must be passionate about cooking, willing to explore and prepare different cuisines.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating fresh, seasonal, health conscious, and whole-foods meals
- Preparing foods for the days when the candidate is not working
- Entire culinary experience from shopping/procuring supplies, prepping, cooking, plating service, clearing and cleaning up
- Manage inventory cabinets including refrigerator and pantry
- Prepare and serve dinner
- Keep the kitchen clean and neat at all times, empty the dishwasher
- Organize kitchen
- Help out with general housekeeping in the home
Requirements
- Excellent Cook
- Housekeeping experience
- Excellent references are required
- Minimum 3 – 5+ years of related experience working in a private home as a private cook
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a domestic team
- Willing and able to work in a child and pet-friendly environment
- Personable with high energy
- Able to work well with others in a household
- Pass Background Check
