We are looking for a full-time Conveyor Belt Installer/Fabricator to work in our Sioux Falls, SD branch. The ideal candidate will perform various tasks involved in the production of fabricated conveytor belting for a variety of industries which would include using hand tools, blueprints, and equipment to complete work orders. The position requires the ability to work in-shop and on customer sites (installs) utilizing basic math skills to read and read a tape measuring.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Fabrication:

• The ability to read a tape measure.
• Aptitude to learn how to cut regular and step cut rolls per cut sheet provided
• Aptitude to learn the various types of glues and cleaners to use for the type of belt and application being used
• Set up, prepare, and layout the belt to specification
• Measure and cut material to customer specification.
• Inspect belts and hoses to ensure they meet quality standards

Installation:

• Basic installation of rubber belting including use of machine and hand tools on customer site.
• Provide effective and timely onsite support for customers
• Knowledge and adherence to onsite safety policies and procedures
• Communicate well internally and externally about the status of all jobs
• Keep tools and hardware storage area organized

Other:

• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Knowledge and adherence to onsite safety policies and procedures

• On-call for weekends and willing to put in extra hours if needed
• Off-site/work travel to customer sites
