Description:Senior level Contracts Management position.
Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates and
renegotiates standard and nonstandard contracts.
Evaluates contract performance to choose
necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts,
and compliance to contractual obligations. Maintains
communications to ensure timely contract implementation by the parties. Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
May plan and participate in training of contract
practices and negotiations to company personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
This position is for a contract professional to support the capture efforts, contract administration, and learn to lead contract negotiations of MFC proposals/contracts.

The qualified individual must be able to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.

Possess the ability to interpret RFPs and contract terms, develop contract positions as they relate to risks and identify opportunities.

Ability to comprehend financial and business concepts. Handle multiple assignments while achieving program commitments. Experience with proposal preparation; coordinating and participating in management reviews; proposal submission, factfinding; contract negotiations, contract award and execution.

Computer skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point with ability to grasp other software applications require to perform job duties. Excellent written and oral communication skills; should be detail and teamwork oriented with excellent organizational skills. Able to travel domestic and/or internationally when required to fulfill the responsibility of the position.
