LOCATION: Contracts & Grants – Pablo, MT

SALARY: $20.98 to $24.11 per hour

CLOSING DATE: Thursday, December 1, 2022 @ 5:30 p.m.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
This is not a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The
successful applicant if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a prehire drug test and will
be required to serve a sixmonth probationary period.


DUTIES: 

Works within policies and procedures, related to the agreements for the Tribes 

Data Entry of reports, then run the ‘Delinquent Report List’ for each department.

The report will be sent to the departments on the first of the month and then

copied to the Executive Officer and the Chairperson. 

Scanning documents, such as contracts, grant documents and any pertinent

documentation. 

Filing all the reports prior to running the delinquent report. 

Maintaining the departments supplies – ordering with Property & Supply 

Assist programs in generating detailed or specific reports from Central

Accounting 

Assist in maintaining all of the contract/grant files in OAB 

Assist with preparation of Journal Entries from the Contracts& Grants

Department for Central Accounting Department 

Ensure that the Contracts and Grants Database is updated and accurate 

Assist Grant specialists with coordination and setup of training for new

implementation and renewal grants 

Coordinating the grant tracking list 

Process payroll for the department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (AS REFLECTED ON THE TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT
APPLICATION) 

High School Diploma 
Experience in a standard office environment is preferred.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS (AS REFLECTED ON THE TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT
APPLICATION): 

Some knowledge in budget and accounting. 

Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of mediums to include both oral and written
reports of very complex and detailed issues. 

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships 

Ability to interpret regulations and policies.
