McGlinchey Stafford Remote

McGlinchey Stafford’s nationally recognized consumer finance licensing practice is currently seeking an experienced Licensing Manager to manage multistate licensing projects. The licensing manager will work directly with attorneys in our consumer financial services regulatory compliance team based in offices across the US. This position is fully remote and may be located anywhere.

The successful candidate will be able to supervise a large number of licensing team members working to obtain and maintain consumer finance related licenses. In this role, the licensing supervisor will receive requests from attorneys and clients, assign license projects to team members, act as a point of contact for clients, prepare status updates, coordinate license applications and review supporting documents, and ensure timely completion of projects. Ultimately, this candidate will be responsible for managing multiple license related projects, including license renewals and annual reports, then developing and maintaining statuses for each client project.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience, or supervisory experience, in a consumer finance or other regulated industry;
  • Experience working with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (“NMLS”) preferred;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and deadlines;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PDF software;
  • A self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure and an attitude that no job is too challenging or too small;
  • Ability to provide solutions to a variety of issues of varied scope and complexity and to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
