Are you an experienced nanny/family assistant looking for the next long term job? This is a wonderful opportunity to grow with an active family in beautiful NW DC. The ideal candidate for this position working with 7 and 10 year-old boys will embrace their role as a partner to the parents in helping raise children who are independent, responsible, and respectful. If you excel at building strong connections with school age children who love pushing boundaries, and find that your calm but confident demeanor and ability to help co-regulate emotions brings out the best in them, you will find this role extremely rewarding.

Key responsibilities include keeping the kids’ area tidy and organized, meal prep, running errands, driving the kids - a nanny car will be provided for your use.

The family loves to travel and ideally would like to have you join them on their trips. Additionally, the family has a pool and the children love to swim, so someone comfortable swimming is required.

Qualifications:
-At least 5 years of professional Nanny or Family Assistant experience
-Must be legal to work in the US
-Must be OK around a dog
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Experience working with school age children
-Experience working with children with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder
-Licensed driver with a clean driving record & car⁣
-Must be Covid-vaccinated and boosted if eligible

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
