Job duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Open and close concession stand.
- Prepare food & beverage items at the concession stand.
- Sell food & beverage items at the concession stand.
- Take payments-cash and credit card.
- Explain the best value by informing and/or suggesting our products and experiences.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for all guests and associates.
- Follow the direction of the leadership team.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Weekends are mandatory since most of our events happen on weekends. We also have some work during the week.
The concession stand sells drinks and snack style foods. This is a fast-paced environment, but we want our customers and our associates to have a fun and enjoyable experience. Previous food service experience is helpful, but not necessary.
We are looking to fill positions in Highland / Poughkeepsie area for the Walkway Over the Hudson and the surrounding area for community events.
Starting pay is $18 per hour plus tips.
