What are we looking for from you?

  • Lead all compliance/accreditation review processes and activities
  • Interface with certification and regulating agencies and local boards
  • Work closely with Coleman leadership and staff regarding audits and client rights issues
  • Maintain and publish Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure compliance to all laws and compliance standards
  • Provide oversight and supervision of compliance staff members
  • Provide consultation on HIPAA and update policies and procedures
  • Ensure staff continually measure and assess services and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement remediation plans

What qualifications will you need to be a successful Compliance Surveyor?

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Familiarization with licensure and accreditations in behavioral health facilities, such as:

o CARF, COA, Joint Commission, etc.

  • Minimum of two year's related experience in client's rights as Compliance Officer
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to our services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to compile and analyze data
  • Clinical licensure (LPC/LPCC, LSW/LISW, or LPN/RN)
  • Customer service mindset

Preference given to the following candidates:

  • Master's Degree level candidates
  • Certified CARF Surveyor with over 3 years of experience
