Qualifications/Credentials:
  • 5 years experience with Senior Care.
  • Must comply with all federal and state regulatory acts and agency's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities of a companion include:
Maintenance of a clean, safe and healthy environment, which may include light cleaning.

  • Observe the client's condition, behavior, appearance and hygienic needs and document changes or problems to supervisor.
  • Measure and prepare meals.
  • Adhere to procedures and standards of personal/professional conduct.
  • Run errands
  • Companionship

  • Provide conversation and companionship
  • Prepare current and future meals, monitor diet and eating
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry and linen washing
  • Possibly accompany to doctor appointments
  • Running errands for clients
  • Assist with paying bills
  • Prepare grocery list and do shopping
OVERNIGHTS - If applicable:
  • All services of companion position
  • Assist with evening routine
  • Assist as needed throughout the night
Financial Offer - Salary and Benefits:
The offered caregiver position salary is dependent on the assignment but starts at {!mergefield-startingpay}. Upon taking an assignment you will be notified of the compensation but it will be no less than {!mergefield-startingpay} This will give you the ability to accept or decline.

Bonus (or Commission) potential. Oasis Homecare Services will offer $100 per caregiver referral who worked for 30 days. Oasis Homecare Services will offer $150 per client referral who hire us for 30 days or more. We are currently offering a $1000 bonus payable quarterly in $250 installments for every 250 hours worked.

Hours and Compensation. This is a Part-time/Full time position. The number of hours will depend on the individual assignment.

Employee Benefits. There is currently no benefit being offered at this time

Employment Relationship. Your employment with the Company will be “at will,” meaning that either you or the Company may terminate your employment at any time and for any reason or for no reason at all, with or without prior notice to either party.

Any contrary representations that may have been made to you are superseded by this letter agreement. This is the full and complete agreement between you and the Company on this term. Although your job duties, title, compensation and benefits, as well as the Company's personnel policies and procedures may change from time to time, the “at will” nature of your employment may only be changed in an express written agreement signed by you and a duly authorized officer of the Company (other than you).

Policies & Procedures. A full written copy of the company policies and procedures is available in the office. An electronic copy can be sent upon request. You are required to observe and uphold all of the Company's policies and procedures as implemented or varied from time to time.

Collection, storage, access to and dissemination of employee personal information will be in accordance with privacy legislation.

Tax Matters.

Withholding. All forms of compensation referred to in this letter agreement are subject to deduction to reflect applicable withholding and payroll taxes and other deductions as required by law.

Tax Advice. You are encouraged to obtain your own tax advice regarding your compensation from the Company. You agree that the Company does not have a duty to design its compensation policies in a manner that minimizes your tax liabilities, and you will not make any claim against the Company related to tax liabilities arising from your compensation.

Interpretation, Amendment and Enforcement. This letter agreement supersedes and replaces any prior agreements, representations or understandings (whether written, oral, implied or otherwise) between you and the Company and constitutes the complete agreement between you and the Company regarding the subject matter set forth herein. This letter agreement may not be amended or modified, except by an express written agreement signed by both you and a duly authorized officer of the Company.

In the event of any dispute, this agreement shall be interpreted based on New Jersey law. Any dispute shall be resolved in New Jersey through arbitration. Any part of this agreement that offends New Jersey or Federal laws shall be superseded by the New Jersey or Federal law. Such conflict by a portion of this agreement shall not nullify the other parts of this agreement that conforms with New Jersey and Federal laws.

Conditions of Employment
OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES is duly incorporated to provide employment contract services to clients. The following conditions of employment exist between OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES and the employee named below.

  • Employee acknowledges and understands that OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES will be responsible for payroll, withholding, and timely payment of all applicable employer and employee statutory employment taxes and insurance. These include social security, state unemployment, disability (where applicable) and workers' compensation.
  • It is understood that employment is at the mutual consent of the employee and the employer. Consequently, both employee and/or employer may terminate this employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice. Employment is expressly at will.
  • As an employer OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES agrees to enter an employer relationship with the employee as outlined in the Employee Handbook, which the employee has received a copy.
This agreement embodies the entire employment agreement and understanding between OASIS HOMECARE SERVICES as the employer, and the Employee, and there are no representations, warranties, terms, covenants, or conditions made by either of the parties except as herein expressly contained.

Review and Signature:
By electronically signing, you acknowledge that you understood the contents of this agreement, and that all your questions have been answered. If you so wish, you may, at your own cost and expenses, have this agreement read and explained to you by a lawyer, an accountant or someone knowledgeable about New Jersey Labor Laws.

You may indicate your agreement with these terms and accept this offer by signing and dating this agreement.
