Communications Associate Job at Syria Relief and Development
- Responsible for designing communications plans that support key initiatives and various business objectives, long-term goals, and projects under the direction of the Marketing Manager and in collaboration with the Turkey media and field team, marketing agency and other internal stakeholders.
- Work independently to draft, edit, and proofread content for assigned projects. Partner with marketing interns and graphic design for formatting, layout and creative design as needed and in accordance to SRD’s brand guidelines and standards.
- Assist in the development of innovative ways to improve reach and engage potential donors through content, events and advertisements.
- Ensure that SRD maintains ongoing relationships with current donors by preparing well articulated and integrated communication to engage current donors consistently with SRD’s current initiatives and impact.
- Assisting in the development and execution of SRD 's annual online fundraising efforts.
- Maintaining and updating SRD’s website with dynamic content on SRD’s various programs and services as well as all current fundraising campaigns.
- Assist in managing all SRD social media platforms including the management of content updates on SRD programs’ activities, advocacy updates, and the latest hard and soft news on the crisis
- Coordinate all digital and creative content needs with the media and field teams in Turkey.
- Assist in the development and execution of special events to increase community engagement.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $30,000.00 per year
