COMMERCIAL FLOOR ESTIMATOR

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20-22/hr DOE

Location: Rosenberg, TX

Commercial Floor Estimator Summary:

The Estimator/Project Manager position is responsible for: doing plan take offs, collecting pricing from vendors, and creating bids/proposals for submission to customers. Upon being awarded the project, help create submittals and order material, upon project completion gather and send close out documents.

Commercial Floor Estimator Responsibilities:

• Reviews specification flooring documents and understands the scope of work
• Executes Material take-offs of construction documents
• Inputs take-offs, schedule and other data points into our computer database
• Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
• Photocopies documents and plans
• Has an understanding of flooring

Commercial Floor Estimator Preferred Skills:

• Collaboration and Communication Skills
• RFMS Measure experience preferred but not required
• ProCent experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• 1 years of related commercial floor estimating experience or training OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience
