Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab has been owned and operated since 1978 by the same founding family members. The facility offers short term rehabilitation services including physical, speech and occupational therapy, as well as long term skilled care for those that might need that service. This is accomplished in a comfortable, homelike environment where our residents, families and staff are able to experience a family type atmosphere.

Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab is currently recruiting for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) at our long term care facility in Senatobia, Mississippi.

Description of duties:

- Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.

- Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.

- Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.

- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Job Requirements:

- Valid and Current Mississippi CNA License
- Ability to Multi-Task
- Good Bedside Manners
- Geriatric Experience (preferred but not required)
- Good Pain Management Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience (preferred but not required)

Attention Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Students:

If you are currently enrolled in a CNA class, we do hire CNA Students.
