The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting for a Clinical Director (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for a migrant community health center in Des Moines.

Position Details:

• This position will have oversight over and may cover for providers in the Fort Dodge and Iowa City regions.
• The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have experience seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

Practice Details:

• Clinic Hours: M-F; 9AM – 4:30 PM – but hours dependent on clinic schedule each week. Evening hours at least once a week and weekends as needed in the summer.
• Patients: 12 on average seen per day - 95% of patients prefer to have visit in Spanish
• Number of Exam Rooms: 2
• Current Provider Staff at all sites: 2 full time NPs and 5 PRN NPs
• Support staff: team lead, health aids, interpreter, RN
• EHR: eClinicalWorks
• Call: primarily during office hours – from providers in the other regions

The total maximum contribution by the health center s is 8%. The employee is fully vested immediately on all personal salary deferrals and the health center match. There is a five-year vesting schedule for the 4% “nonelective contribution.”
