Covenant Physician Partners is hiring a Clinical Center Manager to lead the team at Quad City Gastroenterology located in Moline, IL.

SUMMARY:

Under general direction from Covenant’s Practice Administrator and specific direction from the Center's Board of Managers, the Clinical Manager is responsible for managing all clinical operations of the Practice. The Clinical Manager is assisted by staff in Covenant’s corporate office. The Clinical Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining high quality and patient-focused care in a cost-efficient manner. They will oversee all clinical, with the support and assistance of our staff at Covenant Physician Partners’ Nashville Service Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates daily assignments, coverage, and lunch schedules for clinic medical assistants, and procedure schedulers.
  • Coordinates and/or provide if needed, back up support for the clinical staff.
  • Provides supervision of medical assistants, nurses and other support staff as instructed, including conducting performance reviews and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Manages clinic hours to reduce overtime.
  • Assists in coordination and training of new and existing staff.
  • Assists with clinic scheduling problem solving, patient wait times, and other areas of concern to increase efficient and quality services.
  • Oversees clinic ancillary services such as infusion, special procedures or any future clinic services.
  • Works collaboratively with staff on programs to improve patient outcomes. Assists in organizing and participating in quality improvement activities to improve systems, services, and processes.
  • Implements physician orders and provides patient education as needed.
  • Assists in handling/resolving clinic-related patient complaints or issues.
  • Assists with coordination of vendor/drug rep communication/management.
  • Assists with other administrative tasks and clinical care as assigned by the Practice Administrator.
  • Assists with coordination/management of inventory, through ordering and maintenance of medical supplies and medications using a cost-effective approach.
  • Assists with other administrative projects and tasks as needed.
  • Oversees daily and monthly quality assurance reviews for regulatory compliance.
  • Assists with data collection and/or process improvement plans for clinic-related MIPS measures.
  • Assists with departmental emergency preparedness plans.
  • Attends administrative team meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Active IL & IA RN license required. BSN preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of three years of previous leadership/supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
